Hopsewee, a South Carolina’s National Historic Landmark, is a preservation rather than a restoration and has never been allowed to fall into decay as it has always been cherished. 0nly five families have owned it, although it was built almost 40 years before the Revolutionary War.

The Pelicans are a minor league baseball team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They are a Class A Advanced team in the Carolina League and the franchise is currently the farm team of the Texas Rangers. From their inaugural season until 2010, the Pelicans were an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The Pelicans play home games at BB&T Coastal Field, which seats up to 6,600 fans.
